Santa Monica entertainment studio New Form Productions announced Thursday it has raised $18 million in a Series B round of funding from ITV and Discovery Communications Inc.

ITV is taking a minority stake in the company as well as striking a strategic partnership. The total includes an additional investment from initial investor Discovery.

New Form creates scripted content for the digital market.
