Mattel Sees Big Drop in Barbie Sales

The El Segundo toy maker Mattel Inc. remained profitable during the third quarter despite an 8 percent decline in worldwide sales led by a big drop in Barbie purchases, the company reported early Thursday, according to the Business Journal.
