In Thursday trading, the Dow Jones industrial average closed up 323 points, or 2 percent, to 15,126.

The Nasdaq rose 83 points, or 2 percent, to 3,761.

The S&P 500 rose 36 points, or 2 percent, to 1,693.

The LABJ Stock Index rose 4 points to 170.
