Membership has its price…and its own inconveniences. The Luxe Rodeo Drive Hotel has instituted a “club fee”; guests who pay an extra $35 a night get breakfast and other goodies. The problem, the Los Angeles Times reports, is that travel search engines cannot distinguish the Luxe’s optional fee from the mandatory resort fees many charge.
