Live Nation in Talks for Control of Largest Independent Promoter

Live Nation Entertainment is close to a deal to take a majority stake in C3 Presents, the country’s largest independent promoter. The deal would give the Beverly Hills concert and ticketing behemoth a 51 percent in C3 Presents and value C3 at around $250 million, the New York Times reports.
