Litigation Costs Way Up in L.A. County

Los Angeles County spent a five-year high of nearly $119 million last year on lawsuits, judgments, settlements and attorneys’ fees – a 24 percent increase from the previous year, according to the Los Angeles Daily News. The litigation cost will be discussed at Tuesday’s board of supervisors meeting.
