L.A. Takes Step Toward Touch-Screen Voting

The Board of Supervisors on Tuesday approved a $15 million contract with a Palo Alto consultant to design touch-screen voting machines that will replace paper ballots in Los Angeles County, the Los Angeles Times reports.
