Kobe Bryant, Will Ferrell and Jessica Alba are among celebrities appearing in a new video pitching Los Angeles for the 2024 Olympics that premiered Wednesday. According to the Los Angeles Times, the 2 1/2-minute spot, “Where Will You Be in 2024,” was produced by LA 2024, the committee orchestrating the bid.
In addition to panoramic scenes of the city’s skyline and beaches, the video features snippets of young people skateboarding, rowing and fencing. Restaurateur Roy Choi makes an appearance, as does Mayor Eric Garcetti, seen dribbling a soccer ball down a hallway at City Hall.
