Los Angeles Kings broadcaster Bob Miller, who has been the hockey team’s play by play announcer since 1973, is taking a leave of absence to undergo heart surgery, reports the Washington Post. The 77-year-old is in his 43rd season. It could be weeks if not months before he is back behind the microphone.
