Jimi Hendrix’s birthday would be an appropriate day to commemorate the musical contributions of a rock legend. For one Dutch company, it is also the perfect day to announce a Jimi Hendrix vaporizer.
E-njoint announced Friday that it had signed a contract with Purple Haze Properties to manufacture Jimi’s Vaporizer.
Purple Haze Properties of Hollywood, which is managed partly by Jimi’s younger brother, Leon Hendrix, is the licensor of Jimi Hendrix products on the cannabis market. The musician would have turned 73 on Friday.
“I wish we could have vaped together, because we all know how much Jimi loved that beautiful flower,” Leon Hendrix said in a statement.
The three-in-one vaporizer, which can be used for dry herbs, wax and oil and will be available in January, now gives E-njoint an opportunity to continue expanding its reach in the United States. The company, which manufactured the first electronic joint in 2014, recently opened a warehouse in Los Angeles and launched a U.S. website.
