Heat Wave Expected for Sunday’s L.A. Marathon

Organizers of the L.A. Marathon have moved up the Sunday race’s start time by 30 minutes to 6:55 a.m. to try to beat the heat, the Los Angeles Times reports. Several local roads will be closed beginning at about 3 a.m. Sunday.
