HBO, Discovery Take Stake in L.A. VR Firm

HBO and Discovery Communications have entered the virtual reality space with the purchase of equity stakes in Los Angeles 3-D graphics company Otoy. The Los Angeles Times reports that the companies plan to tap Otoy for original holographic content for a variety of platforms.
