Grocery Stores Resurrected

Several local Albertsons, Vons and Pavilions stores that closed last year to become part of Haggen’s ill-fated expansion into Southern California have re-emerged in their old locations, reports the Los Angeles Daily News. More are on the way in a reacquisition unprecedented in the supermarket industry.
