Fox Rent a Car announced Tuesday it will open eight locations in Italy, highlighting its continued global expansion. Fox, headquartered in Los Angeles, is the fifth largest car rental company in the United States.
“We’re looking to expand both domestically and internationally and continue to grow our brand,” said Richard Wolff, chief financial officer of Fox.
Locations affiliated with Fox will open soon at Rome, Milan and Pisa airports, while locations at Venice, Bari, Brindisi, Palermo and Catania airports are to open later.
With the additional locations, Fox will have a presence in 27 countries and territories.
Earlier this year, the company announced that it had opened in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Europe and Turkey.
“We’re focused on being a value brand, and that’s all we do and we do it really well,” Wolff said. “That’s how were able to compete, and we’re able to garner real market share in every market that we’ve entered into.”
