Ex-IndyMac Execs to Settle Suit

Former IndyMac Bancorp Chief Executive Michael Perry and former Chief Financial Officer Scott Keys appear close to settling a class-action securities lawsuit stemming from the Pasadena thrift’s collapse four years ago. The Wall Street Journal reports that IndyMac’s insurers would pay $6.5 million to investors who had sued. IndyMac’s collapse was the fourth largest bank failure in U.S. history.
