On Saturday, May 30th, something unexpected and undeniably exciting is coming to San Clemente, Sonance Cares is hosting Rumble for Rescue.
This one-of-a-kind robot charity-fighting event brings innovation, entertainment, and compassion together for a powerful cause. This isn’t your typical fundraiser; it’s an immersive, high-energy experience that unites people in support of animal welfare—all while delivering a night our guests won’t forget.
At the center of it all are the robots. Engineered for spectacle and personality, these 200-pound machines will go head-to-head in a series of dynamic, crowd pleasing matches. With each round, the energy builds as attendees rally behind their favorites, creating a live atmosphere that feels part sporting event, part show, and entirely electric. While the robots may be doing the “fighting,” the real winners of the night are the dogs.
Sonance Cares created Rumble for Rescue with a simple yet powerful mission: to raise meaningful funds and awareness for organizations that work tirelessly to protect, rescue, and care for dogs in need. All proceeds from the evening will directly benefit three Orange County animal welfare organizations: FurEver Family Nonprofit Veterinary Care, Friends of OC’s Homeless Pets, and Pet Project Foundation.
Beyond the main event, the evening is crafted as a full experience. Guests will step into a vibrant, energetic environment featuring live entertainment, an aerial finale, and a community of dog lovers, advocates, philanthropists, and local leaders who share a passion for making a difference.

The inspiration hits close to home. Biscuit, a rescue dog adopted by one of our team members, spent years in the shelter system before finding his forever family. His story is a reminder that every animal deserves a chance—and that’s exactly what this event fights for.
