Doomed Sixth Street Bridge Draws Last-Minute Fans

A crowd gathered on the Sixth Street Bridge Tuesday night to bid the viaduct farewell. The bridge will close to traffic on Wednesday so Bureau of Engineering crews can prepare the bridge for demolition, according to the L.A. Daily News. Demolition will be followed by a $449 million project to build a replacement bridge.
