Strength at the global box office and at its theme parks were not enough to offset weakness at Walt Disney Co.’s television arm, resulting in a mixed earnings report that fell short of analysts’ expectations, The New York Times reports. Though revenue and profit both rose, the increases were lower than expected and came as the Burbank company said it would shut its Infinity video game and toy line.
