Darkness Falls

Businesses and residents from Studio City to Sherman Oaks were left in the dark last night by a massive power outage. An explosion at a Department of Water and Power electrical substation knocked out power to 8,700 customers in the San Fernando Valley, reports the Los Angeles Daily News.
