Council Candidate Swears Off Developer Donations, Despite Receiving Them

Los Angeles City Council candidate Teddy Davis said Tuesday at a forum hosted by the Hollywood Heights Association that he wouldn’t take developer donations – but records show he already has, the Los Angeles Times reports. Davis is running replace termed-out Councilman Tom LaBonge, and has since returned the donations.
