San Marcos-based Cart Mart Inc. announced Monday that it is expanding into Los Angeles County through a partnership with Ingersoll Rand subsidiary Club Car LLC.

Cart Mart, a dealer and distributor of golf carts and other low-speed vehicles, will distribute vehicles under the Club Car and Carryall brands in Los Angeles County.

The company also does business in the counties of San Diego, Orange, Imperial and Riverside.

The company expanded to Riverside in 2016 with the opening of a location in Rancho Mirage, its third in addition to locations in San Diego and Orange counties.

Once its expansion into Los Angeles is complete, Cart Mart says it will have increased the number of people it employs from 85, including part-time workers, to more than 100.
