California Democrats Seek Changes to Carbon Law

A group of moderate Democrats in the Legislature are seeking changes to California’s controversial cap-and-trade law because they believe an expected 15 cent price increase per gallon at gas stations next year could harm low-income drivers, the Los Angeles Times reports.
