Big Money for “Transformers”

“Transformers: Age of Extinction” grossed some $90 million this past weekend at Chinese cinemas, a near-record haul in the country, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Meanwhile, the fourth movie in the Transformers series brought in an estimated $100 million in this country, with that amount being part of a $301 million performance worldwide, Variety said.
