Bidding for Clippers Was ‘Like Speed Dating’

In quick succession, billionaire suitors lined up to meet Shelly Sterling last month at her Malibu beachfront mansion to bid for the Clippers, the Los Angeles Times reports. Along with winning bidder Steve Ballmer, other visitors included Patrick Soon-Shiong, former NBA player Grant Hill and investment giant Tony Ressler.
