BATS to Face Big SEC Fine

BATS Global Markets Inc., a stock exchange partly owned by downtown L.A. brokerage Wedbush Securities, is nearing a $13 million settlement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for securities-law violations, the biggest fine ever charged against a stock exchange, the Wall Street Journal reports.
