Bag Ban Opponents Seek Referendum

The same day Gov. Jerry Brown signed a ban on single-use plastic bags into law, opponents of the legislation filed paperwork with the state attorney general’s office for a referendum in 2016 to overturn it, Capitol Weekly reports.
