ASCAP Record: More Than $1 Billion in Revenue

The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, or ASCAP, exceeded $1 billion in revenue last year, the first time any music licensing organization hit that level, the New York Times reports. Revenue was up 4 percent from 2013.
