Los Angeles performing rights organizations BMI Inc. and the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) have reached licensing agreements with leading online radio service, Pandora Media Inc.
The deals, which were reached separately, reportedly resolve disagreements over rates and allow Pandora access to more than 20 million musical works.
According to Forbes, the deal includes improved royalty payments for songwriters and publishers of ASCAP and BMI. Specific terms of the agreements were not disclosed.
