Century City’s Ares Management reported a third quarter profit of $43.3 million on Monday, or 43 cents a share, for the period ending Sept. 30.
Wall Street analysts had predicted earnings of 38 cents a share. During the same period last year, Ares reported a loss of $11.3 million, or -14 cents a share.
The global asset management firm, headed by Chairman and Chief Executive Tony Ressler, generated total revenue of $335 million across its credit, private equity, and real estate divisions.
Ares also declared a quarterly distribution of 20 cents per common unit for the quarter.
