American Apparel fought in Bankruptcy Court on Wednesday against ousted CEO Dov Charney’s aim to re-take the company, saying that his plan would land the company in extensive litigation, Reuters reported.
Last week the company’s board rejected a $300 million takeover bid involving Charney, and is now trying to get its own bankruptcy plan approved by the court. Charney reportedly was to take the stand today but now is scheduled to take the stand on Thursday.
