Grocery chain Albertsons will pay $3.4 million to settle claims the company
illegally handled hazardous materials at 188 California stores. The settlement
is the outcome of a case involving the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office
and authorities in other Southern California counties, the Los Angeles Times
reports.
