Air China announced Monday a new route between Los Angeles International Airport and Shenzhen, China.
The airline will fly the route nonstop three times per week, starting with the inaugural flight this Thursday, Dec. 7.
Shenzhen is dubbed China’s Silicon Valley because of its large electronics manufacturing base. Many U.S.-based electronics companies outsource their electronics manufacturing to the area and frequently fly to the Shenzhen to collaborate with their Chinese counterparts.
