The acquisition will let VXI, a portfolio company of asset management firm Bain Capital, create an end-to-end customer service chain for businesses, from sales to product development and delivery. The firm, which provides outsourced sales, call center, tech support and other business services, will add 2,000 employees to its 15,000-person staff through the deal.
Symbio’s product lines include product and software development, quality assurance and marketing strategies. Customers of the San Jose company include Alibaba, Google, HSBC, Intel, Microsoft and Volvo.
