Match Group Chairman Gregory Blatt on Thursday condemned an unflattering article about Tinder Chief Executive Sean Rad, CNBC reports.

In the article, which was published in the British tabloid Evening Standard, Rad discussed his sexual history and spoke of doing background research on a Vanity Fair reporter who criticized Tinder in an article for its role in “hookup culture.”

Blatt referred to it as a “silly and unfortunate article” in which “there are a lot of inaccuracies.”

The comments were made before the Match Group’s initial public offering Thursday. Dating app Tinder of West Hollywood is one of Match Group’s well-known dating brands.
