Snapchat of Venice has acquired Bitmoji app maker Bitstrips of Toronto, Fortune has learned from multiple sources.

One of the sources said the deal is a mix of cash and stock valued “in the ballpark” of $100 million. Bitstrips’ Bitmoji app makes personalized cartoons that users can share through various chat services, such as Apple’s iMessage and Facebook’s Messenger.

Snapchat, which has raised more than $1.2 billion in funding, also acquired animation app Looksery of Ukraine for a reported $150 million in September. That app overlays pictures and videos with motion graphics that can turn users into virtual zombies, give them bug eyes, or allow rainbows to spew from their mouths, among other visual effects.

Snapchat declined to comment on the report.
