Honest Co. to Drop Disputed Ingredient from Laundry Detergent
The Honest Co. has reformulated the ingredients in its laundry detergent after coming under scrutiny from an independent tester for including sodium lauryl sulfate, while saying the chemical was not in its products, reports the Wall Street Journal. Honest disputed the labs’ findings and said its testing didn’t find the chemical, but instead it used sodium coco sulfate, which said it was a different compound.
Event Farm Acquires Attend
Event marketing software developer Event Farm has acquired event software company Attend for an undisclosed amount, according to a blog post from Event Farm. Attend has offices in Boston and its software sends digital invitations and registers guests for events.

Vertebrae, a native virtual reality ad startup, raised a $10 million Series A round, reported Venture Beat. The company’s platform will help marketers place advertisements seamlessly within virtual reality worlds.
