Hulu Content Spending to Hit $2.5 Billion in 2017
Hulu Chief Executive Mike Hopkins said on Thursday his company’s content budget for 2017 is around $2.5 billion, reports Variety. Hopkins also revealed that Hulu plans to launch seven new original series in the next six to nine months.
SpaceX Reveals Rocket Landing Blooper Reel
SpaceX Chief Executive Elon Musk posted a blooper reel of his company’s rockets failing to land and then exploding, reports Ars Technica. “There’s a silly notion that failure’s not an option at NASA,” company founder Elon Musk has said in the past. “Failure is an option here. If things are not failing, you are not innovating enough.”
Snapchat Launches Bitmoji Augmented Reality Feature
Snap Inc. is combining into a new feature two of its most popular features: cartoon avatars people can create for themselves called Bitmoji and augmented reality technology, which lets users project images of the real world through the app’s camera, reports Recode. Starting Thursday, users will be able to superimpose their Bitmoji avatar into whatever environment they are looking at through the app’s camera.
