Space Exploration Technologies Corp. expects to resume rocket launches by the end of the year despite a rocket explosion setback and damage done to its Cape Canaveral, Fla. facility by Hurricane Matthew, reports Space Flight Now. Strong winds stripped exterior panels from SpaceX’s payload processing facility last week.
FameBit Acquired by Google
Multichannel media network Famebit has been acquired by Google for an undisclosed amount, reports L.A. Business Journal. The network offered a marketplace of popular internet stars for brands to hire as product spokespersons.

Snap Inc. is courting Hollywood producers to create TV-like content for its app Snapchat, reports DigiDay. Snap wants short-form shows with episodes between 2 minutes and 6 minutes long.
