Blizzard Reveals Details of Upcoming Overwatch League Season
Activision Blizzard revealed the details of its upcoming Overwatch League season at its annual fan event BlizzCon in Anaheim, VentureBeat reports. The first match kicks off on Jan. 10, and 12 teams will compete throughout the season for a spot in the playoffs, which start on July 11.
Consumers Overwhelmed by Growing Number of TV Shows
While Hulu, Netflix, Amazon and Apple load up on original series, a new survey indicates U.S. viewers may have already had their fill of content, Variety reports. Asked whether “there are so many TV programs to choose from that it’s hard to know where to start,” nearly half of respondents either strongly agreed or somewhat agreed.
GrubHub Finds Success on Snapchat
GrubHub has found success reaching its key demographic, college students, on Snapchat, DigiDay reports. The delivery service has used Snapchat in a variety of ways, including using Snapchat to drive brand awareness through a scavenger hunt, Snap Ads and geofilter campaigns.
