Oben Raises $7.7 Million for 3-D Scanning Faces into Virtual Reality
Oben has raised a $7.7 million round led by DunAn Group of China, reports VentureBeat. The Pasadena startup’ software can scan a human face and then insert that visage into a virtual reality world.
Activision Shares Fall on Weaker Than Expected Forecast
Though the company’s third quarter earnings were higher than expected, $1.63 billion, Activision Blizzard’s shares fell 4 percent in after-hours trading on Thursday to $41.80, reports Fortune. The company forecast adjusted earnings of 74 cents a share for the fourth quarter, but analysts were expecting 80 cents a share.
