Activision Blizzard Inc. increased the performance stock bonus of its chief executive, Robert Kotick, to a maximum of $56.3 million over three years, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The Santa Monica video game publisher also reduced his base pay from $2.37 million a year to $1.75 million a year.
Atom Tickets Partners with Disney to Sell Star Wars Merchandise
Online ticket seller Atom Tickets has partnered with Walt Disney Co. to sell “Rogue One: A Star Ways Story” merchandise with tickets purchased on its platform, according to a press release. Beginning Nov. 28, when fans purchase “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” movie tickets via Atom Tickets, they will be able to buy exclusive products only available digitally through Atom’s mobile ticketing app and website.
AT&T’s DirecTV Launches Streaming TV Service
AT&T-owned DirecTV of El Segundo has launched a TV-streaming service called DirecTV Now, reports TechCrunch. The service has a starting price of $35 a month, which includes more than 100 channels and the option to add on premium networks such as HBO and Cinemax.
