Breitbart Banned from Major Ad Exchange
Right-wing website Breitbart.com was banned from ad exchange AppNexus for what the company called “hate speech,” reports Bloomberg. Brands such as Modcloth, SoFi, Salsify, and Nest have also banned their advertisements from appearing on Breitbart.
Cloud9 Raises $2.9 Million
E-sports franchise Cloud9 has raised $2.9 million from 21 undisclosed investors, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The company is sponsored by HTC and fields teams in video game tournaments for League of Legends, Call of Duty: Black Ops III, and Counter-Strike.
Bridg Launches CRM Software for Restaurants
Customer relationship management software company Bridg has launched a restaurant version of its program for restaurants, according to a press release. Bridg merges transaction history from a restaurant’s entire data set including point-of-sale, loyalty programs, digital ordering, and email information into consolidated customer profiles.
