Right-wing website Brietbart.com’s former executive chairman Steven Bannon has been appointment as president-elect Donald Trump’s future chief strategist, reports The Verge. The appointment of Bannon has spurred some blowback given the nature of content found on Brietbart.com, including headlines such as “Bill Kristol: Republican Spoiler, Renegade Jew” and “Birth Control Makes Women Unattractive and Crazy.”

Chairman of CREATV Media, Peter Csathy, suggested that the Walt Disney Co. should buy Netflix and appoint Reed Hasting, the company’s chief executive, as its chief executive, in an op-ed for TechCrunch. With Disney Chief Executive Bob Iger set to retire in 2018, Hasting would be a good choice to replace him, argues Csathy.
