SpaceX and Tesla Chief Executive Elon Musk said on Twitter Wednesday that he would leave President Donald Trump’s Advisory Forum should the United States withdraw from The Paris Agreement on climate change, reports the Business Journal. “Don’t know which way Paris will go, but I’ve done all I can to advise directly to POTUS, through others in WH & via councils, that we remain,” he wrote on Twitter. “Will have no choice but to depart councils in that case.”
Cellphone Game Controller Manufacturer Gamevice Raises $12.5 Million
Gamevice Inc., creator of a controller that snaps on a smartphone, announced on Wednesdays that it closed a $12.5 million Series A funding round, reports Venture Beat. The gamepad is available only for Apple products, such as the iPhone and iPad, and is in 490 Apple stores around the world.
FitnessGenes Raises $5 Million
FitnessGenes announced on Wednesday that it raised $5 million in a Series A round of financing from Chinese investment firm SGHF, who was the sole investor in the round, reports Genome Web. FitnessGenes provides fitness and nutrition advice to customers based on analysis of their DNA.
