Santa Monica’s Surf Air has acquired rival subscription-based airline Rise of Dallas, according to a statement posted to the local firm’s website, reports the Business Journal. The value of the acquisition was not disclosed.

Stem raised $8 million to improve its music royalty management software, reports Billboard. The round was co-led by venture capital firms Aspect Ventures and Evolution Media.
