Internet Brands to Buy WebMD for $2.8 Billion

Internet Brands Inc. of El Segundo announced an agreement Monday to acquire online medical information company WebMD for $2.8 billion, reports the Business Journal. Internet Brands’ private equity owner, KKR, has fully committed to financing the transaction, the company said in a statement.

Hulu Names Google Veteran as Marketing Executive

Hulu named Kelly Campbell, a Google Cloud veteran, as its chief marketing officer, reports The Hollywood Reporter. Campbell will be responsible for leading Hulu’s marketing strategy across its streaming video and live television services.

‘Game of Thrones’ Snapchat Lens Reaches 45 Million People

HBO sponsored a “Game of Thrones” lens on Snapchat which was used by more than 45 million people, reports Variety. The selfie lens let fans turn themselves into a blue-eyed, ice-breathing White Walker.
