PacketFabric Raises $25 Million from NantCaptial
PacketFabric, a connectivity-as-a-service platform, announced it secured $25 million in Series B funding from NantCapital, according to a press release. PacketFabric facilitates coast-to-coast connectivity between more than 150 co-location facilities.
SpaceX Falcon Heavy Testing Delayed by Government Shutdown
SpaceX will have to wait a bit longer to test its first Falcon Heavy rocket, as NASA and Air Force personnel stay home due to an ongoing U.S. government shutdown, Space.com reports. The shutdown puts a temporary hold on many NASA operations and withholds personnel from SpaceX’s planned test fire out of NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. That engine test is a prerequisite for launching the rocket for the first time.
Organic Perfumer Skylar Body Raises $3 Million
Organic perfumer Skylar Body raised $3 million late last year in a round led by Upfront Ventures, with participation from Brian Lee, Amplify.LA and others, TechCrunch reports. The company claims since its launch eight months ago, it has picked up 10,000 customers with their pitch for organic, personalized fragrances.
