The Overwatch League will receive at least $90 million over two years from Twitch in exchange for streaming rights, Sports Business Daily reports. The deal is believed to be the biggest exclusive distribution deal in e-sports history.

Artificial Intelligence Startup Oben Raises $10 Million

Artificial intelligence startup Oben has raised $10 million, bringing its total funding to roughly $23.7 million, The Hollywood Reporter reports. Its new investor is K11, the company behind a museum-retail concept, the “art mall,” that has sites in Hong Kong and Shanghai.

Survios to Open Virtual-Reality Arcade in Torrance

Virtual reality startup Survios plans to open a virtual-reality arcade in Torrance in the coming months and use it as a testing ground for a more ambitious retail roll-out, Variety reports. The walls of the arcade will be made out of glass, which will double as a display screen for integrated throw projectors and enable onlookers to not only see players, but also the virtual-reality environments they’re in.
