Render Media: Eytan Elbaz, co-founder of Culver City gaming developer Scopely Inc., has launched a new digital media publishing company. Render Media will own websites such as Opposing Views, America News, Food Please and Watch This.

ScoreBig: JetBlue has signed a deal to include purchases made through Hollywood’s ScoreBig online event marketplace in its airline loyalty program, TrueBlue. The deal is similar to ScoreBig’s partnerships with other airlines such as Southwest and United Airlines.

Dysh: El Segundo startup Toast Labs has launched its first app, Dysh, which will combine user-generated content and restaurant menus to encourage “conversation around food.” Dysh is making its debut in the wake of a successful seed funding round, though financial details were not disclosed.

Flipagram: L.A. video storytelling app Flipagram has added direct messaging to its lineup of features. The new feature allows users of the app to chat and share photos and videos privately with their followers.

Creator: L.A.’s FocusMotion, an algorithm company that tracks human movement, has launched a new tool that allows developers to add new movements to its algorithms. Developers can use Creator to input data and build new movement-tracking models for use on mobile devices and wearable trackers.

Wallaby: Pasadena credit card optimization firm Wallaby Financial Inc. has released an update for Chrome 2.0. The new feature gives users more control over the Wallaby’s online spending recommendations.

Rankzoo: Downtown L.A. digital content studio Collab has launched a new app that aggregates data from Vine to help users better develop content strategies and track audience growth. The new app is an extension of the service Collab previously introduced online through Rankzoo.com.
