Petnostics: Downtown L.A.’s Petnostics has launched a pet urine analyzer app. The app analyzes cat or dog urine and alerts owners to potential health problems, such as diabetes, kidney stones, or urinary tract infection.

Ponder: Photo and video sharing app Ponder of West Hollywood has launched. Users can look through photos and videos using a Tinder-like swipe feature. Tinder co-founders Sean Rad and Justin Mateen, as well as Mark Cuban, are backing the startup with an undisclosed amount of seed funding.

Fandango: Movie ticketing company Fandango of West Los Angeles announced it will launch a ticket-selling bot on Facebook in May. The artificially intelligent bot will chat with users on Facebook, helping locate movie information, trailers, show times, theater locations. It will also offer ticketing links.

Ticketmaster: West Hollywood’s Ticketmaster will reportedly start selling tickets on Facebook by the end of this month. Ticketmaster will facilitate ticket sales directly from musicians’ Facebook fan pages.

Velocify: El Segundo sales software company Velocify has launched a new feature called SalesCady, which helps sales representatives find prospective customers on social and professional networks.

Chuz: Hollywood-based Chuz launched its discovery app for activities. Chuz suggests events and hangout spots, such as coffee shops and bars, based on a user’s mood, the time of day, and neighborhood.
